Dear Full of Jerks in Maryland

Okay so I got this comment from someone.  Here it is. 

I just moved back to my old school and I would like to still be friends with some of the people I hung out with a lot. All the girls are mean, don't remember me, or just ignore me. 

Unfortunately some of my friends were boys, but they are all Jerks now. With capital letters, yes.

How can I be friends with my new friends and old friends without getting nasty stares or rude comments.

Dear Full of Jerks in Maryland,

         Actually I sorta had the same problem.  Some of my friends that I hung out with are just so weird now so I can't really talk with them.  Of course I have new friends who are really awesome.as well and most of my old friends are my friends still.  You know I thought a lot of the boys were a little nicer before and now they are also jerks.  I think you should just try and even if you get a nasty stare or a rude comment just remember you are doing what you wanted to do.   Oh and remember "Sticks and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me."  And try your best.  Good luck!
